As an unabashed fan of the Southeastern Conference, I thoroughly enjoyed this College Football National Championship game. This was SEC football at its finest, which, of course, means different things to different people. Regardless of how boring the 1st half may have been due to poor quarterback play or great defensive play, the storyline to focus on here is the manner in which the Alabama Crimson Tide came back from being down 0-13 at the half only to win in overtime 26-23 with a freshman quarterback playing his first meaningful 30+ minutes of football. Nick Saban has yet again validated that he may indeed be the best college football coach in history. Love him or hate him, he finds ways to win.
