Alabama nudges past FSU for AP No. 1



Florida State has been knocked from its perch atop the AP top 25 once again. No. 1 Alabama slipped just ahead of No. 2 Florida State in this week’s latest AAP top 25 poll despite having fewer first-place votes from voters. Alabama received 25 first-place votes compared to Florida State’s 29 first-place votes, but it is the Crimson Tide who hold the top spot with a three-point advantage in this week’s AP voting.

No. 3 Oregon picked up the remaining five first-place votes in this week’s AP poll and stood firm in their position this week. No. 4 TCU moved up two spots and remains sitting in front of No. 5 Baylor, who remained in fifth place this week. No. 6 Ohio State moved up one spot and No. 7 Michigan State moved up three.
