Achilles Tendon Rupture Blog: D+5, surgery D-day

image

Surgery went well. Amazingly well. My new splint is a little tighter, but manageable. I remember nothing of surgery. I flipped over for them to give me anaesthetic and I was out. I woke up to my sexy wife, who had dressed me and taken notes from the doctor. I could not have done this without her. I am not 100%, but I am functional. Thanks to Dr. Magovern and the Torrance Orthopedics team.
