73 days to Florida Gators football. #73 –David Williams, T (1984-88) of Mulberry, Florida, picked up right where Lomas Brown left off, becoming one of the top offensive tackles in the nation during his career. David played tackle under Galen Hall, where he was a pivotal part of the 9-1-1 team that would have been our first football SEC Championship in Gainesville. He was first team All-SEC his senior year, second team All-American in his junior and senior years, team captain in his senior year, and was named a University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame Gator Great in 1999.
