Sumang Kamoteng Kahoy

Sumang Kamoteng Kahoy is made of finely ground cassava mixed with coconut milk and sugar that is wrapped in banana leaves and steamed. Trivia: the cassava is called tapioca when dried to a powdery  pearly extract. Bonus Trivia: improperly prepared cassava contains enough cyanide-related chemicals to cause a slow, painful death.
