2009 Gotham Langhorne Creek is deep garnet-purple colored. At first tastes like a standard cabernet sauvignon, but soon gives way to ‘intense blackberry and warm black cherry notes with some black pepper, a pinch of dried Mediterranean herbs and a whiff of loam’. 4/5.
Hungarian stew (goulash) made of beef, bacon, green peppers, caraway, garlic, onions, and olive oil, seasoned with spices to taste. Reminds me of a Polish stew my Grandma K would cook. 5/5 stars.
